Are the travel expenses included in your packages or covered additionally?

Travel is included for formal photography across the Lockyer Valley, Toowoomba and Ipswich.


If your formal is in Brisbane, the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast, a flat rate travel fee of $120 applies. This covers travel time and fuel, with no hidden extras.


If you're planning something a little further away or interstate, just let me know the details and I’ll provide a clear, upfront quote.

This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?

Most of my clients tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera at first, and that’s completely normal. I’ll gently guide you with natural prompts so nothing feels stiff or forced. The best photos happen when you’re interacting, laughing, moving and just being yourselves.


You don’t need modelling experience. You don’t need to “be photogenic.” You just need to show up as you are.

What happens if the weather is unfavourable for an outdoor shoot?

I always keep a close eye on the weather leading up to your session. If rain looks likely on the day, I’ll be in touch with a plan.


For formal sessions, I can suggest alternative locations with indoor or undercover options such as pergolas, verandahs or architectural spaces that still photograph beautifully. At-home sessions are also a lovely backup option and can feel relaxed and personal.


While I’m generally happy to shoot in light rain, I completely understand that for formals you probably don’t want your hair and makeup affected before the big night. Your comfort and confidence always come first, and we’ll make a decision that feels right for you.
